Locality

Kalimna is situated above Lakes Entrance where there are many popular lookout spots which are a must by pasting motorists. The views are breath taking and stunning sunsets colour the sky as the day ends. Lakes Entrance is sometimes called 'The Entrance' as it provides access to the Gippsland Lakes and the Southern Ocean.Kalimna Views is amongst this glorious setting. The climate is temperate which makes it a popular tourist resort all year round. Home to one of Australia's largest fishing fleets. Try the local seafood in any of the Restaurants & Hotels in the area.

Gippsland Floods Information

Lakes Entrance is back for business.

All the lakes are back to normal & Lakes Entrance has recovered after the floods. We're down to stage 1 water restrictions as the floods have cleaned the rivers after the summer bushfires.

The Kalimna dredge is clearing the sand build up in the Lakes and the Entrance has been opened up from the flood waters.

    It was lovely to have such a clean, bright and pleasant place to stay. Whether we just sat with a cuppa on the verandah, lay around reading, looked out at the lovely sunsets, or used the unit as a short lunch stop spot between fishing, swimming and walking, it was a relaxing stay for us with our two youngest sons. The boys loved it.

    Thanks a lot and we had the greatest time at Lakes Entrance. All because of your lovely place. It was so beautiful. We loved the scenery from the house. Also the house was perfect. You have thought about everything and we enjoyed it. It was very welcoming and homely. We went on the Lonsdale cruise and had a nice time. We loved the food on the cruise too. We visited Buchan caves. We will definitely visit your house again and will recommend it to our friends too.
